Welcome to MedullaOS. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the MedullaOS platform and services provided by MedullaOS ("we," "us," or "our"), founded and operated by Jillian Romero.
MedullaOS is a premium, custom-built personal operating system service. We design, build, and maintain a personalized digital system tailored to the way your brain works, your routines, and your responsibilities. By engaging our services, you agree to these Terms in full.
If you don't agree with any part of these Terms, please don't use our services. We'd rather part ways honestly than have anyone feel uncomfortable with the arrangement.
MedullaOS is a done-for-you personal operating system. Here's what that means in practice:
The Build Phase: We start with a deep discovery process to understand your life, routines, goals, tools, and pain points. From there, we design and build a custom system from the ground up. This includes your dashboard, integrations, automations, and any custom modules specific to your needs. The build phase typically takes 2-4 weeks depending on complexity.
The Retainer Phase: Once your system is live, we provide ongoing maintenance, updates, and evolution of your system. Life changes. Your system should change with it. The retainer ensures your OS stays current, functional, and aligned with how you're actually living.
Every MedullaOS is different. There are no templates. What we build for you is designed around you.
When your MedullaOS is built, you'll receive login credentials to access your personal dashboard. You are responsible for:
MedullaOS is an invitation-only service. Access is granted after a discovery call and mutual agreement that we're a good fit. We reserve the right to decline service to anyone, for any reason.
Your MedullaOS account is personal to you. You may not transfer, sell, or share access to your account or system with others without our written consent.
Initial Build Fee: The custom build costs between $5,000 and $10,000, depending on the complexity and scope of your system. The exact amount is agreed upon before work begins. Payment is due in full (or per an agreed installment schedule) before the build phase starts.
Monthly Retainer: Ongoing maintenance and evolution of your system costs between $200 and $500 per month, depending on the level of support and the complexity of your system. The retainer begins once your system goes live. Payment is due on the first of each month.
Refund Policy:
You own your data. Full stop.
Everything you put into your MedullaOS belongs to you. Your schedules, your finances, your health information, your goals, your family details, your contacts -- all of it is yours.
We access your data solely to build, maintain, and improve your personal system. That's it. We don't sell your data. We don't share it with advertisers. We don't use it to train AI models. We don't monetize it in any way. Ever.
For more details on how we handle your information, please read our Privacy Policy.
A big part of MedullaOS is connecting the tools and services you already use -- Google Calendar, Tesla, banking apps, Spotify, smart home devices, and more.
When you connect a third-party service to your MedullaOS, you are authorizing us to access that service's data on your behalf, within the scope you approve. Here's how we handle that:
Each third-party service has its own terms and privacy policies. We encourage you to review them. Our responsibility covers how we handle the data once it reaches your MedullaOS.
Let's be clear about what MedullaOS is not:
MedullaOS is a tool for organization, automation, and clarity. It's powerful -- but it's not a substitute for professional advice in any licensed field.
Our platform, your data. Here's how ownership breaks down:
Think of it like a custom home: you own everything inside, but the architectural blueprints and building methods remain with the builder.
We work hard to keep your MedullaOS running smoothly and aim for high uptime. That said, we don't guarantee 100% availability. Real talk: no one can.
Here's what we commit to:
Our infrastructure runs on Vercel and Supabase, both of which maintain strong uptime track records. But third-party integrations (Google, Tesla, banks, etc.) have their own availability, which is outside our control.
Either party can end the service relationship with 30 days' written notice. We hope it never comes to that, but if it does, here's how it works:
We may also terminate or suspend access immediately if there is a material breach of these Terms, including non-payment, misuse of the platform, or any activity that compromises the security of our systems or other clients.
MedullaOS is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we put serious care into every build, we cannot guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet every expectation in every scenario.
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
We build with care and stand behind our work. But this clause exists because the real world is messy, and we want to be upfront about the boundaries of our responsibility.
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements, or business practices.
When we make material changes, we'll notify you via email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. If you continue using the service after the updated Terms go into effect, you're agreeing to the new Terms.
If you disagree with any changes, you can terminate the service under the terms outlined in Section 10.
Questions about these Terms? We're happy to talk.
